‘AISLING’ (from ‘Ash-lig’: ‘dream-like vision’)

AISLING are an Italian metal band, effortlessly weaving symphonic elements with their love of black metal.

The band are from the Italian port of Trieste, which was founded around 500BC by the Celtic tribe, the Carni Càtali, and they feel a strong affinity with the traditions, thoughts and spirituality of their ancestors, to the extent they declare themselves a “Celtic metal band”.

Their dream-like visions help them reach the roots of their Pagan culture, and they firmly believe in the irresistible and destabilizing power of nature.

The band formed ten years ago, and has subsequently released three self-produced albums (‘Aisling’, ‘Endless Cycle’ and ‘Tràth na Gaoth’).  The band’s current line-up is Cromm (lead/rhythm guitar), Sidh (vocals), Arawn (bass), Cernunnos (rhythm guitar) and Belatucrados Arawan Balor (drums).
