Formed in 2007, Stafford’s CONFINED WITHIN insist that they only ever had one mission with the band – “to make really good metalcore…”!  Since then, the band hasn’t strayed from its roots, and is aiming to be better than any other bands on the scene.

CONFINED WITHIN – Tom Ashton (vocals), Jay Kay (guitar), Matt Munro (guitar/vocals), Joe Mayer (bass) and Ben Tatlock (drums)  -  built a strong local following, compounded with the release of the World Stops Turning EP, and have built on that fanbase by playing with bands such as Skindred, Trigger The Bloodshed and Bleed From Within, before entering the studio at the end of 2010 to record their debut album, Ashes Of A Fallen Kingdom.

The band toured the UK this spring supporting label-mates THE DEAD LAY WAITING, and then play an extensive tour of Europe…come check them out when they appear near you…!
