Following the success of their recent album, Severance, SWORN AMONGST have signed a five-album deal with Rising Records, encompassing worldwide management and agency representation.

The band initially came to the fore when they won a KERRANG! Unsigned competition, resulting in them performing at Download, and they subsequently played Bloodstock Festival: since then they played the ‘Thrashing Like A Maniac’ UK and European tour with Gama Bomb, as well as a full tour with Breed 77, but have still found time to record their blisteringly hot new album, Severance.

“The live stage has always been where Sworn Amongst has belonged,” explains the band’s singer/guitarist, Liam Liddell. “If there's one thing we pride ourselves upon, it's the ability to bust onto any stage and deliver the body-breaking set that our fans expect from us…and having been in the studio so long, we can’t wait to get back out playing live again!

“Severance is the album we always wanted to create - a record that pushed us as individuals, that pushed our perception of what we can achieve. It’s surpassed our initial expectations, and - we believe - the expectations of our fans.  We had to step outside of our comfort zones. With all respect to And So It Begins, we needed to blow that record out of the water…and with all its intricacy, intensity and pure energy, we feel that Severance has more than achieved that.”
